Event Agenda

  • A high-trust start to the day.
A highly curated group of Europe’s leading GPs, LPs, founders, and policymakers come together. We arrive knowing who matters to whom—and ensure the day starts with direct, meaningful connections to the people you should know, not chance encounters.

  • Europe’s builders take the stage.
Founders and operators share what it actually takes to build category-defining companies in Europe—capital, talent, regulation, ambition, unveiling how Europe wins.

  • Informal, deliberate collisions.
Time to continue conversations from the morning, form new connections, and cross silos between capital, company-builders, and institutions shaping Europe’s tech future.

  • Capital, conviction, and sovereignty.
Leading VCs and LPs discuss how Europe invests, how it should invest, and what must change to build globally competitive outcomes—fund sizes, incentives, narrative power, and long-term alignment.

  • Celebrating those who moved the continent forward.
The EUVC Awards honor individuals and firms shaping European venture—not popularity contests, but peer-driven recognition of impact, leadership, and long-term contribution to European tech.

Award Categories

  • Celebrating a lifetime of achievement in European Venture, this award is for those who have shaped the industry through their investments, contributions, and thought leadership over 10+ years.

    Past winners:
    2024 — Credo Ventures
    2023 — Seedcamp

  • This accolade recognizes our industry’s emerging managers by the same criteria as firm of the year, but focusing on firms on fund I - III.  Evaluation is thus with a holistic view, including pure financial and portfolio performance as well as innovation, impact on the ecosystem, diversity, transparency and fairness as well as team and culture.

    Past winners:
    2024 — Tapestry Ventures

    Past winners:
    2024 — Pale Blue Dot

  • This category recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions made in the European VC ecosystem that has impacted our practices positively and helped usher in positive changes in our industry. Submissions are thus evaluated as specific projects or contributions to the ecosystem, rather than as individuals or organizations.

    Past winners:
2024 — Atomico for 10 Year Anniversary of State of European Tech
    2023 — unlock VC (formerly WVC:E)

  • This accolade recognizes a corporate venture capital team that has demonstrated outstanding investment activity and meaningful contribution to the European venture ecosystem. Evaluation takes a holistic view, spanning the consistency and quality of investments, engagement with founders and co-investors, and the extent to which the CVC has acted as a constructive, long-term partner—bringing strategic value, market access, and ecosystem leadership beyond capital alone.

This is the first year with the CVC Award

  • Honouring the firm that has had a company that has exited and created the most value back to the VC and therefore back to the European Venture ecosystem. This is about venture capital returns as opposed to "the biggest exit" and will also encompass strategic aspects of the exit such as timing in relation to market conditions and exit strategy employed.

    Past winners:
2024 — SV Health Investors for EyeBio

    2023 — Capnamic for LeanIX
