A Series of Pan-European Dialogues To Unlock Pension Capital
For Growth & Tech Sovereignty

Next Dialogue: 22/4 London

The European Pension Fund Dialogues is a closed-door initiative to bring together pension funds, policymakers, and leading European venture firms to discuss how institutional capital can engage meaningfully with venture capital across Europe.

The series travels city-to-city with a simple objective: Move the conversation from “should we invest in European venture?” to “how do we build institutional-grade allocation?”

The next dialogue takes place on the 21st of April in London, the morning before the EUVC Summit and is hosted in partnership with CMS.

Agenda for The London Dialogues

  • Opening remarks from EUVC and Isomer Capital, setting the context for the session and outlining the objective of advancing pension engagement with European venture.

  • Professor Philippe Tibi, Chair, Scale-UP Financing at French Ministry of Finance

  • First-hand perspectives on how institutions are structuring venture exposure, lessons learned, and how allocations are evolving.

  • Venture firms operating at the front line share what they are seeing in the market and why the European opportunity is real, investable, and time-sensitive.

  • Optional 1:1 conversations and continued discussion.

Upcoming Dialogues

  • VivaTech is Europe’s foremost technology & innovation festival, uniting startups, corporates, investors, and public actors in Paris over four days. Vivatech also offers product unveilings, global premiere demos, keynote stages, and trend spotlights across AI, mobility, sustainability, health tech, and more.

As the home of the Tibi initiative — which mobilizes institutional investors to channel capital into France’s most ambitious tech companies — Paris offers symbolic gravitas and institutional momentum for the Pension Capital Dialogues.

  • In the second half of the year, we will take the Pension Capital Dialogues to three of Europe’s most dynamic tech stages:

TechBBQ LP Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark where hundreds of allocators gather to discuss LP strategies.

The Drop in Malmö, Sweden where Europe’s leading climate investors come together to chart the path forward to sustainable future

Slush in Helsinki, Finland, Europe’s most iconic startup gathering.

These placements ensure the dialogues sit at the very heart of European tech to unlock new pathways for capital and innovation.

Past Dialogues

  • GoWest gathered Europe’s top deep tech investors for keynote talks, fireside discussions, and high-signal networking around the themes shaping the future of European investment.

This year’s edition put special emphasis on the Green Transition, Defense & Security, and Frontier Innovation at the edge of science and industry — defining Europe’s next wave of competitiveness.

With Nordic pension funds increasingly active across clean tech, defense, and early-stage innovation, GoWest served as the ideal launchpad for the Pension Capital Dialogues — linking capital, insight, and vision in a region leading on impact and pension reform.
